In this task, we worked together to understand and apply key principles of infographic design. We explored four major concepts that influence how information is structured, presented, and perceived. Each team member contributed to different aspects of the project, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of these principles.

FLIP 1: Types of Infographics

Infographics come in various forms, each serving a unique purpose depending on the information being conveyed. This project focused on identifying and categorizing different types, such as statistical, process, comparison, and hierarchical infographics. We explored real-world examples to see how each type enhances clarity and engagement.

Findings
Among the exercises, I found the Animated Infographic Poster to be the most challenging, as it required me to convey information clearly through motion. Unlike static design, where elements remain fixed, animation introduces movement, making it difficult to balance clarity and visual appeal. A major challenge was ensuring that the audience could easily follow the information without feeling overwhelmed.

I dedicated a significant amount of time to refining timing, pacing, and transitions to ensure that both text and visuals appeared in an engaging yet comprehensible manner. Experimenting with various motion techniques allowed me to emphasize key points effectively without making the animation too fast or cluttered. Through these exercises, I strengthened my understanding of timing, easing, and composition, ultimately improving my approach to the Animated Infographic Poster.

Overall, this project challenged me to think critically about how to communicate information through animation, and I gained valuable insights from the process.
