Research:
After researching bad poster, I decided to redesign this poster.
Visual Reference:
visual reference 1
visual reference 2
Color Palette:
After researching a few color palette I decide to take this color palette because I want to make like a summer topic poster.
Ai Illustration Process:
At first, I insert the bad poster in to Adobe Illustrator. Than, I open a layer and insert the reference poster into the background and than I adjust the opacity to 50%. After adjust the opacity I insert text and I draw rectangle. I also insert the content into the poster.
I use pen tool draw the text box base on this picture to make the text box looks like an ice cream. For the center part I use this picture as the reference photo and make the circle looks like cotton candy.
Besides that, I use pen tool draw a ice cream stick shape out and I go google search wood than I mask the two thing and become a ice cream stick.
I also add on two black dot because it will looks like eyes. And will make the whole poster cuter.
I also find icon and insert into
After Effect Process:
After finish the poster part move on to animation part. I insert the Ai illustration file into After effect and do the minimal animation.
I adjusted the position, scale, and opacity at specific seconds to achieve the desired effect.
After adjustment this is the final animated video.
Final Submission:

REFLECTION
Experience
Throughout this project, I used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects to bring the animation to life. In the process, I learned a lot from both software. In Illustrator, I practiced using the Pen Tool, creating shapes, and working with text. In After Effects, I gained experience with key features like adjusting position, controlling opacity, and managing animations along the timeline.
Findings
Among the exercises, I found the Animated Infographic Poster to be the most challenging, as it required me to convey information clearly through motion. Unlike static design, where elements remain fixed, animation introduces movement, making it difficult to balance clarity and visual appeal. A major challenge was ensuring that the audience could easily follow the information without feeling overwhelmed.
Observation
I dedicated a significant amount of time to refining timing, pacing, and transitions to ensure that both text and visuals appeared in an engaging yet comprehensible manner. Experimenting with various motion techniques allowed me to emphasize key points effectively without making the animation too fast or cluttered. Through these exercises, I strengthened my understanding of timing, easing, and composition, ultimately improving my approach to the Animated Infographic Poster.
Overall, this project challenged me to think critically about how to communicate information through animation, and I gained valuable insights from the process.
