PROCESS

GOOGLE SLIDE-IDEA

PHOTOSHOP-POSTER

Step1: I mask out my face and than put it in the middle of the artboard. Besides that, I add back ground at the back.

Step 2: I draw a shape adjust the color and add gaussian blur make it become a shadow under my face. I also insert cloud in front and back of my face to visualize it looks like floated on the sky.

Step 3: I insert painting tool and move it surround around my head. 

Step 4: After that I cut and paste some flower on the left side of my face. 

Step 5: I add more pink flower and leaves and tree behind the flowers let it look more nicer.

Step 6: I add the sun behind and insert the quote "DO IT SHINE IT".

AFTER EFFECT-ANIMATION

Step 7: After finish poster part. I import the poster to After Effect and do animation part. 

Step 8: I adjust the object's opacity, rotation and position. 

Step 9: After adjusting all the objects I add in the background music.

Step 10: I export out the animation video to mp4 and upload to YouTube.

REFLECTION

Experience：

Over the four weeks of this final task, I tackled challenges in three different modules: Typography, Illustration & Visual Narrative, and Digital Imaging & Photography.

In the Typography module, I grasped the basics of how fonts convey meaning. Creating my own font not only boosted my technical skills but also prompted me to think about how typography can tell a powerful story.

Digital Imaging & Photography allowed me to try out self-portraits and image manipulation. Adding a self-portrait to the poster needed careful thinking about composition and visual impact. Balancing personal expression with technical aspects revealed the intricacies of digital imaging, even though learning After Effects was challenging.

The Illustration & Visual Narrative module explored visual storytelling. Keeping a consistent story subject that expresses my personal or artistic identity became clear. I value the skills I gained during this final task, finding them both fascinating and versatile.

Completing this final task was a delightful journey of self-exploration, expressing myself in a dynamic artistic way, reflected in my titles "DO IT SHINE IT."

In summary, the process highlighted the connections between these modules, emphasizing the importance of  create a visually striking and conceptually meaningful self-representative poster.
